Outdoor Recreation League FAQ's

Q. What is the start date for House League

        A. The first week of outdoor house league is May 26th - May 30th

Q. When will I know what team my child is on?

        A. Players' rosters will be found through the sport engine app, all rosters will be posted to the app on May 12th

Q. Can I request Teammates?

       A. Yes! We can only accommodate ONE request per player but will try our best to accommodate them all. Teammate requests will NOT be honoured after May 1st.

Q. When will schedules be released?

        A. Schedules will be released through the Sport Engine app and on our website, on May 12th

Q. When/where is Uniform handout?

        A. TBD

Q. When/where is Picture Day?

        A. TBD

Q. When/where will the photos be handed out?

        A. Photos will be handed out during the scheduled last week (August 11th-15th) with medals at the field after your last game.

Q. When/where is Fun Day? 

        A. Fun Day will be held at Vaso's field on August 9th, the hours of the event are 11 am - 2 pm 

Q. What equipment should I get for my child?

         A. The only piece of equipment that is mandatory for your child is shin guards. Cleats are recommended but not mandatory. 

Q. What should I bring to the field with me?

          A. Uniform, water, sunscreen, a seat (blanket or lawn chair) and anything else you may deem necessary

Q. Should I download the sportsengine app?

          A. We recommend downloading the sportsengine app, it has valuable information such as your team roster, team leader name, schedule and a team chat function. Important notifications may also come through the sportsengine app regarding field cancellations. *The sportsengine app is free and will never ask you to input credit card information to use the app

Q. What Ages get a ball?

         A. U3-U8 will be provided with a soccer ball at uniform handout.

Q. How many players are on the field at a time?

          A. U6 - 4v4, U8 - 5v5, U10 - 7v7, U12 - 9v9, U14 - 11v11
