March 29th, 2024 - Oshawa, ON. Nathan Harrison-Blowers has committed to Durham College!

A talented member of the Oshawa Kicks 2006 Boys Team, Nathan will be joining the Durham Lords Men's Soccer Team. 

Nathan played a pivotal role is the 2006 Boys Team's successes, taking home the 2023 Frank Sobil Spring Classic, 2023 New York City Cup, and an excellent second place finish at the 2023 Desert Super Cup in Arizona. 

Jordon Hargrave, the Oshawa Kicks 2006 Boys Coach had this to say about Nathan's commitment to Durham College: 

"Nathan epitomizes what we as a club want our players to aspire to. He began in our recreational program, then joined the competitive program which he immediately flourished. It was very evident that he was going to be a special talent from his first steps on a competitive field.

Having watched his development through the years and being able to see him grow to where he is now is the most rewarding thing as a coach. All that growth and development is down to his unrelenting work ethic, exceptional attitude and a willingness to push himself and his teammates on a daily basis.

Nathan has never settled for being average, he has always pushed himself out of his comfort zone, whether that was trying a new position or trying out for a higher level. He has always strived to be the best player & teammate he can be.

An extreme talent on the field is only matched by his attitude off the field. His willingness to uplift all his teammates, push them when they need to be pushed or make them laugh when they need to laugh, Nate represents all the best qualities a young man could poses and it has been a pleasure to watch him grow into the young man he is. Durham College is getting an exceptional person both on and off the field, and we couldn’t be more proud of him as a club."
