March 25th, 2024 - Oshawa, ON. We are ecstatic to announce that the Oshawa Kicks Soccer Club will be partnering with Canada Soccer to bring a new program to new and underprivileged Canadians.

In partnership with Canada Soccer, we will be visiting identified Schools in Oshawa and community organizations with the very first Free Kicks - Try It Event this spring.

This program can happen thanks to Canada Soccer’s grassroots development soccer grant we were lucky enough to receive which is why this Free Kicks Event can keep going from March to May this spring and will be primarily hosted by the Oshawa Kicks within the Oshawa community.

We along with many other soccer organizations in Canada are coming together to bring this event to Canada newcomers and those who are less fortunate a Free Kicks Event.

This initiative aims to break down barriers for newcomers to the country and foster inclusion within organized soccer through Club-hosted Try It Events.
