February 28th, 2024 - Sudbury, ON. The Oshawa Kicks are extremely excited to share the news that Max Yarranton has committed to Laurentian University in Sudbury!

Max will be joining the Laurentian University Men's Soccer Team while he pursues a Bachelor of Physical Health Education and Kinesiology Concurrent Education.

Here's what Max had to say about the Oshawa Kicks and his commitment to Laurentian University:

"Oshawa Kicks has quickly become a home for me as a player and a person since I joined last winter. It is clear that the club prides itself on having a family like atmosphere that is welcoming to new players and families. The club has helped me prepare to play at the university level next year for Laurentian University. From the moment I joined it was clear that my coaches Jordon Hargrave and Dawson Jordan had a plan for the players and knew what it takes to get a player to the next level. Over the year I was able to take bits and pieces of their experience and put it into my own game ultimately leading to my growth and success. My team was fortunate enough to travel to New York City where we brought home the NYC Cup, as well as flying to Arizona where we finished second in the Desert Super Cup. These opportunities came from hard work and determination but have left me with amazing memories and lessons that I will continue to learn from in the future. I am very grateful for the experiences I have had at Oshawa Kicks and look forward to this season. I can’t wait to see what the future holds."

Please join us in celebrating and congratulating Max on his commitment to Laurentian University!

We are wishing you all the best in your future academic and athletic efforts!
