July 18th, 2023 - St. Catharines, ON. Our very own Oshawa Kicks 2007 Girls team won the Club Roma Tiamo Festival Cup!

They traveled to St. Catharines, Ontario over the weekend where they were victorious in five straight games. 

The Girls began their tournament with a match against Soo City United. They started strong, opening the tournament with a 3-1 victory!

Next up, the 2007 Girls faced off against Flamborough Dundas SC. They continued with their dominant play, cruising to a 3-0 win!

In their third and final round-robin game, the Girls had a tight game against the Welland Wizards SC. They battled hard, coming out on top by a score of 2-1. 

With an undefeated record in the round-robin stage, the 2007 Girls progressed to the knockout rounds with great confidence.

In the semi-finals, they clashed with a formidable opponent in Guelph Soccer. Undeterred by the challenge, the team demonstrated their unwavering spirit and secured a thrilling 2-1 victory, advancing them to the tournament finals.

The finals proved to be highly intense, as the 2007 Girls once again faced off against Soo City United. The stakes were high, and both teams displayed tremendous skill and determination. In a tightly contested match, the 2007 Girls showcased their tenacity and teamwork, ultimately emerging as champions with another remarkable 2-1 victory.

Throughout the tournament, the 2007 Girls exhibited a commendable display of talent, dedication, and sportsmanship. Their teamwork, solid defensive strategies, and clinical finishing ensured their path to success.
