June 20, 2023 - Oshawa ON. The Oshawa Kicks Soccer Club is delighted to announce that Jaden Forrest-Coolen has made a commitment to join the Redeemer University Men's Soccer Team.

Last year, he was a key contributor for the Oshawa Kicks 2005 Boys in the I-Model U17 Division. He tallied 9 goals through the season which was good for 8th in league scoring and also netted a crucial goal in the league final that his team ended up winning.

OKSC Head Coach, Andre Paul had this to say about Jaden:

"Jaden is a very versatile player able to play multiple positions. This ability makes him a strong two-way player. He has a tireless work ethic and a strong dedication and commitment to the game. He possesses both explosive speed and quickness which makes him a threat to any back line. He possesses the ability to take on defenders and is a strong crosser of the ball. Jaden has a quiet maturity about him and always has a positive attitude."

Redeemer Royals Men's Soccer Head Coach, Matthew Hahn had this to say about Jaden:

"Jaden is a creative player who knows how to get in behind the back line but also tracks back well on the defensive side. I am excited to have his skill set this year as we push to improve our foundation set last year."

Jaden is very excited to continue his soccer career while pursuing his undergrad in kinesiology, hoping to advance to physiotherapy.

Please join us in celebrating and congratulating Jaden on his remarkable achievement of committing to Redeemer, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
