At the membership meeting completed on Wednesday October 26, 2022, at 8pm, new bylaws went into effect. Several changes directly impact the process for nominations to the Board of Directors. Please see the updated nomination process below. The nomination form is now available on our website at www.oshawakicks.com/board. Submitted nomination forms will be reviewed at the close of the nomination period by the Nominations Committee and approved candidates will be updated accordingly.
Individuals from the general membership may be nominated for positions on the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting or equivalent membership meeting with a nomination form signed by 5% of the general membership, as defined in section IV subsections a, b, c, d, or three (3) persons, none of which can be related by birth or marriage or residing at the same address, with at least one (1) person in good standing with the Club, submitted to the Secretary, three (3) days prior to the Annual General Meeting or equivalent membership meeting.
