August 23, 2022 - Oshawa ON. The Oshawa Kicks 2006 Boys wrap up a 3-game home stand vs Bryst Football Academy at the Oshawa Civic this evening as both teams try to chase down the top seed in the U16 Boys I-Model C2 Division.

Third place Oshawa plays host to second place Bryst as both teams try to catch current number one seed Woodbridge in what is a tight race atop the division standings.

The Oshawa side comes into today's match riding a 3-game winning streak rebounding well from slow start that saw them draw and lose their first two games of the year.

Only trailing Bryst by two points in the standings, a result today would see Oshawa leap their opposition to claim the top spot in the division.

Both teams in today's matchup have started the season well with Oshawa holding a record of 3-1-1 and Bryst sporting a record of 4-0-1. Oshawa has put 13 balls by opposing keepers, only conceding 8 for a +/- rating of +5 while Bryst has netted 7 goals and allowed 5 resulting in a rating of +2.

With 3 players in the top 6 in league scoring, Oshawa will look to their offensive leaders Brandon T, Caleb M, and Isaiah S. (all with 3 goals) to continue their strong play and help lead the team to victory.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Kicks team will need to be weary of Bryst forward Kamar M. who currently sits at 7th in league scoring with 3 goals on the year.

Come out and support the team at home this evening as they look to extend their win streak to 4 games and secure first place in their division!
